Meredith Mantik is an editor based in Los Angeles, California and a 2023 Women in Film Editing Fellow.

She has edited four narrative features, five documentary features, and numerous short films. Her documentary ALICE IS STILL DEAD won Best Autobiographical Documentary at DOC LA Film Festival in 2019, and her most recent narrative feature, DOWNEAST, was distributed by Gravitas Ventures and is currently available on Showtime.

Meredith’s editorial department credits include BAFTA-winning series EXODUS: OUR JOURNEY TO EUROPE (BBC Two), YOUNG ROCK (NBC), SOMETHING FROM TIFFANY’S (Amazon/Hello Sunshine), FACES OF DEATH (Legendary), and THE BURIAL (Amazon), starring Jamie Foxx and Tommy Lee Jones. For the past year, she has worked alongside one of her heroes, Oscar-nominated editor Jay Cassidy, ACE.

Meredith studied Creative Writing at Idyllwild Arts Academy, holds a BA in English, Film, and Philosophy from Colorado College, and, upon graduating with distinction from the UK’s prestigious National Film and Television School's Editing MA course, received an AVID Excellence in Editing Award for her work on SWEET MADDIE STONE. SWEET MADDIE STONE won Best British Short Film at London Critics’ Circle Awards and Best Short Film of the Year at the ODEON Film Awards, among many other accolades.
